What Logeion holds.
Why.
And how to stop it.

Name, job title, employer, work email address, and a short note of why the approach was made — usually something the recipient or their firm has made public, such as an appointment, a results announcement, or a conference appearance.

Public professional sources — firm websites, regulatory filings and announcements, professional networking profiles, press coverage — and business contact data providers who compile and verify work email addresses. Logeion does not buy consumer lists and holds nothing relating to private life.

To ask whether the work is of use. Nothing further. Information is never sold, rented, or passed on for anyone else's marketing.

Legitimate interests, under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR: Logeion's interest in offering a professional service to the few people it is relevant to, weighed against the recipient's interest in not being disturbed. The assessment is documented and available on request. Approaches are made to corporate addresses only, and only to people acting in a professional capacity.

Where a recipient declines, only what is needed to prevent further contact is kept — the email address on a suppression list, held indefinitely, because that is the only way the undertaking holds. Where there is no reply, the record is deleted after 24 months. Engaging an advisor is a matter of timing, and relevance either arrives within a couple of business cycles or does not arrive.

Reply and say so, in as few words as you like. Contact stops immediately and permanently, and no explanation is required.

Name, the email address submitted, the answers given and the four scores calculated from them, and the note about the room being prepared for, where one was written.

To produce the report and send it. Submission also notifies Logeion, so the same results are seen at both ends.

It is a fixed calculation applied to the answers, not a judgement. Nothing follows from it: no decision is made about anyone, and no third party sees it.

Legitimate interests. The report was requested, so sending it — and, at most once, asking whether it was useful — is what a person would reasonably expect. Follow-up stops on request.

24 months, then deleted, unless an engagement has begun by then.

Client contact details, and those of anyone coordinating on the client's behalf; the material worked on together, including notes, drafts, and working records of sessions; and the commercial and administrative records of the engagement.

The work is confidential. What is said in a session stays there. Sessions are not recorded unless the client asks; where a recording is made it belongs to the client, and Logeion's copy is deleted when the work ends.

Performance of the contract, and legal obligations for tax and accounting records.

For the duration of the engagement, and afterwards for six years, as tax and accounting law require. Working notes serving no further purpose are destroyed at the end of the engagement.

The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or profiling tools.

The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure. Those logs are not used to identify anyone.

Only the suppliers needed to run the business, each processing on Logeion's instructions and under contract: Google Workspace for email, documents and storage; an outreach platform holding contact and suppression lists; business contact data providers; and the website host. No one else.

In the United Kingdom and the United States. Where information reaches the United States it is covered by the safeguards UK law requires for international transfers, either an approved adequacy route or contractual protections in the supplier's data processing agreement.

Access-controlled accounts, multi-factor authentication, and no more copies of anything than the work requires.

Logeion can be asked to:

• Stop — object to the processing, including any further contact.
• Disclose what is held about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete it.
• Restrict its use while a question about it is unresolved.
• Transfer it, to you or to a third party, in a portable form, where it relates to the contract.

Requests go to joe@logeion.co.uk and are answered within one month, the statutory deadline, and usually sooner. There is no charge. A postal address is available on request.

Raise it with Logeion first — most such matters are a misunderstanding that can be corrected the same day. Failing that, concerns can be raised with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. No permission is needed and there is no cost.

Where this notice changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and the previous version is retained.
